Vivek’s stochastic descriptions of markets are empirically driven and connected to market agent behavior. The ensuing irreducible and highly asymmetric P&L distributions associated with options enable a palette to design strategies in search of carry-controlled tail-risk opportunity and risk-controlled yield.

Vivek received a Doctor of Science degree from MIT for describing transport processes in geophysical flows with a focus on stochastic modeling of micro-structure and decision making under uncertainty. Kapoor was subsequently a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Stanford. Prior to starting his career in Financial Markets in 2000, he was a Faculty Member at Purdue and Georgia Tech.  Vivek has led Volaris since April 2012.

Ravi has experience and understanding of Risk, Operations, Technology, Product Control for financial products. He has 20 years of experience in building derivatives systems, assessing risk, streamlining operations, regulatory compliance, process re-engineering, recruiting/managing teams. Ravi received his PhD in Economics from Clark University and wrote the dissertation: Interest Rate Spreads and the Business Cycle –Role of Liquidity and Uncertainty.
